 Kara is
10 years old and has been skating regularly since January 2000. She has been a student of ballet, tap, and gymnastic floor exercises since age 3. In 2000 she was accepted as a member of the NC State Ballet Company and performed in the production of "The Nutcracker Ballet."
Kara is classified as a Freestyle 3 skater and in 2002 she will compete in the
Winter Classic's in Chesapeake, VA, the USFSA competition
in Raleigh, NC and the Worlds in Marlborough, MA. Kara not only will be
competing individually in 2002 but has also just become a pair's skater and
plans on competing with her new partner.
